Wikidata

The ENICPA – WIKI project is a pilot which has to test possibilities of connecting data from ENICPA members’ databases to the public structure of Wikidata at the basic level, thus building connections to existing entries in Wikidata. We are testing the advantages and possibilities of this kind of connection. In the case of success, we can think about the next steps in this field.

The participating institutions are:

• Kunstenpunt, Brussels, Belgium
• Performing Arts Hub Norway, Oslo
• Arts and Theatre Institute, Prague, Czech Republic
• ITI Germany, Berlin

Part of the project is also developing of knowledge in the field of the Wikidata environment. We hope for closer connection of our databases which we would like to provide to all people who are interested in the theatre art and its history.
